Fishbrain is looking for a fast-moving consultant who can come in and take ownership over key areas related to conversion optimization and improving the user-journey on the web. You should be skilled at moving at breakneck speeds and working toward moonshot goals.
The Conversion rate optimization (CRO) Specialist will implement CRO testing and improvements across ecommerce and web.
Use a mix of creativity and strong analytical skills to identify optimization opportunities that improve user-journey, ecommerce and subscription-flow. Create testing plans based on ideas and convert learnings into actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Work with the wider ecommerce and web team to develop testing plans and optimize user-journey and conversions throughout web properties
Optimization of processes: measure and analyze customer behavior to determine areas of potential opportunity to improve conversion rates
Influence the wider e-commerce roadmap with findings of tests that will aid growth going forward.
Effectively communicate test results and insights while providing actionable recommendations to business partners in web design, creative, product management, and development
Share learnings and results from the web with app product teams so they can take that knowledge and integrate complementary funnels to improve in-app conversions and engagement.
Hold CRO workshops to educate and share learnings with wider company.
Review and optimization of new-subscriber nurture methods.
Requirements:
Keen understanding of US market, buying behavior, spelling variations, etc.
Experience optimizing behavior for web registrations
Experience optimizing checkout and user journey for ecommerce
Experience managing expectations of different stakeholders/groups
Experience with AB/Multivariate testing
Experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Hotjar, Optimizely, Amplitude, and potentially others.
Experience with multi-channel media campaigns
Understanding of statistical significance in testing and determining winning results.
Understanding of best practices for UI, UX, landing pages, and mobile/desktop experiences.
Strong grasp of ROI with analytical mindset
Excellent presentation skills to showcase learnings and results.
