The year was 2005 and e-commerce had long been precarious. With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Five years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 300 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Investment AB Öresund and Sequoia Capital - a company that saw the same potential in Google, YouTube and Apple Computer, as they do in us. We think that is a good start.
Klarna's amazing journey continues and during the spring of 2010 Klarna expanded to Norway, Holland and Germany. In order to meet the challenges in the growing European market, Klarna is now in the process of integrating a new CRM system. The new system will support sales, management and control across the whole organization.
Klarna is now looking for a CRM developer who has a great interest in vast and complex systems. You will be a part of Klarna's Sales and Marketing department where you, in the implementation process, will be focusing on the administration and development of the new CRM system, SalesForce. As the system has been implemented your focus will switch on towards tasks regarding continuously improving and adjusting the system.
Work tasks include:
• To continuously develop and maintain the CRM system throughout the whole organization
• Make sure that relevant knowledge is updated and transferred among your international colleagues
• Administration of all CRM users in countries where Klarna is represented
• Responsible for developing new functionalities in line with Klarna?s strategies leading to better use of sales resources, higher profitability and control
• Making SalesForce a success for Klarna
You are business oriented with a Masters degree in industrial engineering, systems science or a similar field, with excellent results. You have a great interest in IT and if you have previous experience of working with sales and CRM software it is considered a merit.
You speak and write English fluently since your daily work will be in English. You have good knowledge of Java script programming and Microsoft Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Your personality is characterized by a very strong personal drive and commitment. You are structured and have a solid understanding of the business processes.  Your communication skills are very high and you are used to having many parallel contacts within the organization. You also have the ability to quickly respond to requested changes and identify customizations.
