What you will do:
As a Credit risk Underwriter for the German market you will be part of a team of Underwriters covering our European markets.
We are looking for someone to help evaluate consumer and low risk business applications who are requesting products from us online. As part of your analysis, you will perform KYC, credit worthiness, affordability and fraud checks to support your recommendation and decision. The role also involves developing our underwriting policies and procedures, as well as suggest improvements to our automated decision rules and operational processes.To succeed in this role we see that you are comfortable working with digital case management tools and that you can manage multiple stakeholders including customer needs and other functions that you have dependencies to. You have a holistic view to understand needs and like to solve problems.
Who are you?
* A minimum of 1-2 years of underwriting or credit and risk analysis experience, and/or a university degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field and/or a minimum of 2-4 years of customer service experience.
* Professional experience working with operational teams in complex environments where policies and processes are not always fully defined.
* Be self-motivated to meet and exceed personal and team objectives.
* Always look to improve processes and have a willingness to take ownership of the changes and implementation of these changes.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English and German.
* Experience within the automotive finance industry is a plus
