The Credit Risk team is responsible for ensuring that EnterCard fulfils its ethical duty to act as a re-sponsible lender, and for securing that EnterCard does not take a level of credit risk that endangers its financial performance. Together we use modelling and analytics to set the policies that determine to whom EnterCard is prepared to lend.
Now we're looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join the team.
The position
• Perform analysis using industry-leading methods and applying a "test-and-learn" approach. Liaise with Credit risk colleagues both within EnterCard and at our parents (Barclaycard and Swedbank) to share best-practice.
• Monitor the performance of Credit Risk New Accounts Management strategies on an ongoing basis. Provide regular commentary and insights to stakeholders on performance against expectations, trends and emerging risk/opportunities.
• Respond to queries from stakeholders on matters relating to Credit Risk New Accounts Management or performance.
• Support the New Accounts Management Senior Strategy Analyst with in identifying, analysing and assessing new Credit Risk opportunities.
• Contribute to the wider EnterCard Credit Risk team and organization through proactively sharing best-practice, supporting colleagues in periods of stress, always communicating transparently and openly, and helping continue to make EnterCard a fun place to work.
• Collaborate with other EnterCard teams.
You
• You have a university degree in a numerate subject (like mathematics, economics, business marketing, technical engineering, science or statistics etc.)
• You have experience of SAS or similar programming experience is essential.
• You have experience of analytics in a Consumer Finance or similar environment is preferred, but we are also looking for young professionals in the beginning of their career.
• You have attention to detail but also the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and work towards set deadlines
• You speak English
• You have an analytical mindset and leave no numbers behind. You are open minded and eager to learn
• You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
