Do you want to go along for the journey of growing Scania Finans even further? We are now looking for a new Credit Manager to our office located in central Södertälje. In the past 2 years, Scania Finans has expanded its operations with 30% and the journey will continue.
As a Credit Manager you will be responsible for the credit underwriting and credit risk management within Scania Finans. The department consists of 9 employees working with credit underwriting, credit control, AML related issues and continuous development of processes and systems in cooperation with other functions within the company. You will report to the deputy Managing and be part of the management team of Scania Finans.
Main responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to steer and guide the development of the credit department to be compliant with business needs as well as regulatory requirements. You will also take an active part in driving the success of Scania Finans. You will also participate in the underwriting for large ticket deals.
The position offers many opportunities to conduct projects and improvement work related to the credit underwriting process and systems.
Your profile
To succeed in this position, we are looking for a person with the following preferable competencies:
• Strategic mind-set to drive the development of the department as well as the company
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership and coaching skills
• Experience in leading a value based organisation.
• 5-10 years of underwriting experience, preferably from truck financing.
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.
• University degree in business, economics or engineering.
