Alleima EMEA AB is now recruiting an analytical and service-minded Credit Controller to join our team in Kista, Stockholm.

Your role
As a Credit Controller, you work closely with Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibles and need a solid understanding of AR key functions - financial transactions, book closing and cash collection. You will analyze and review credit limits in line with policies and procedures, actively monitor customer behavior to minimize credit risk, and act as a support function for internal and external stakeholders. As part of credit management processes, you will maintain and continuously update customer credit information in our ERP-systems and credit provider tools, support month- and year-end closing through provisions and management reporting. In addition, you will contribute to a strong team setup by onboarding and supporting new colleagues through training and mentoring-always with a focus on improving our service delivery to internal Sales.
Key responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with legal requirements and Alleima Credit Control procedures
Review and manage credit limits in line with the global Alleima Treasury credit policy
Perform creditworthiness assessments and deliver timely risk analyses
Monitor customer behavior and external signals (e.g., credit agencies) and take actions to reduce credit risk
Flag and communicate risks and potential issues to Finance and Sales management
Partner closely with Sales-build market insight and negotiate payment terms when needed
Drive harmonization and continuous improvement of credit processes across Alleima entities
About You
We are looking for someone with a degree in finance or business administration, or 3+ years work experience from a similar position, preferably in a larger company with stakeholders spread globally across cultural borders. You have a proven track record from credit control, trade finance or accounts receivable/payable. You are a skilled user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems - experience from M3 is a strong advantage. This position requires that you are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.
To succeed in this role, you have a good understanding of Credit Control and credit rating methods, combined with a solid foundation in accounting principles and the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process. As a person, you are a humble team player with strong social and communication skills, and you are comfortable being firm when needed. You enjoy taking ownership, can quickly identify credit-related issues and act on them, and you are comfortable supporting the business in day-to-day Credit Control activities.
