Our client is based in central Stockholm is looking for a Credit Controller for an initial 6-month period, although this may be extended and become a permanent role. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. You will play a major role in maximizing revenue and mitigating credit risk. The successful applicant will collaborate with our client's sales and marketing departments to implement an effective credit control system and resolve loan issues. You should have experience interacting and working with customers to ensure their needs are met.


Key Responsibilities:

• Cash collection for outstanding debts by telephone and e-mail.
• Providing cash collection forecasts.
• Providing debtor reporting to Credit Manager and Sales.
• Working with Sales and internal departments to resolve customer disputes and invoice queries.
• Identifying potential problem accounts and reporting it to Credit Manager.
• Reviewing exposure for existing accounts and highlighting any issues.
• Preparing submissions to debt collection agencies and lawyers.
• Posting and applying cash to the AR accounts.
• Account reconciliations.



Skills & Experience:

• Two previous Credit Control roles in a commercial environment, at least one which must be international credit dealing with overseas clients.
• Reading and understanding credit reports.
• Have a basic understanding of credit risk and financial statements.
• Understanding cash collection forecasts and knowing how to adjust them weekly.
• Good account reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Fluent English and Swedish

• Influencing/negotiating skills to effectively manage internal departments and external customers.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work towards deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to adapt to ongoing process changes.
• Must be able to prioritize and multitask.
