Do you have a passion for improving the consumer journey and optimizing web site usability?
Butlr is an ambitious startup with a big and clear vision. We?re building a p2p marketplace for services, we launched our website mid september 2013. Now we?re looking to expand our functionality and user experience, as well as reach many many new users and (soon enough) international markets. To achieve our goals we need an awesome web developer to join the team. As our developer you?ll be bringing the latest techniques to all our properties, making sure it?s usable as well as functional.
Your role:
Developing new features and functions, working with our API. Coding with PHP, MySQL in a MVC environment. You are a PHP ninja with a very deep on how modern RESTful APIs should be build to be future proof. You can bend JavaScript, CSS and HTML to your will, think out-of-the-box and as through the eyes of the user. You will work with the team to design interactions and features that our users didn?t even know they should be asking for.
About you:
• You have at least 3+ years solid experience in web development
• You are experienced in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS standards
• You are up-to-date with the latest HTML5 and CSS3 techniques
• Able to interface easily with restful services
• You have knowledge of version control (preferably Git)
• You know what a MVC model is and how it works
• You live in Gothenburg
• You are able to work independently with little supervision
Qualification requirements (must have):
PHP, REST, JavaScript (JQuery, Ajax), CodeIgniter HTML5, CSS3, English.
Additional qualifications (nice to have):
Design skills, Bootstrap, iOS, Android
