What if you could inspire to make everyday life just a little bit better for people all around the world?
The answer is simple: You can. This is what motivates us at IKEA. We're constantly searching to find new ways to inspire people with ideas and solutions that let them live the life they want.
If you enjoy taking personal initiative and exceeding goals and if you are motivated to work in an agile way, with a desire to learn new things and don 't fear navigating in the unknown? Then keep reading, this might be the perfect role for you.
We're searching for a Creative Project Leader to join the all-new department - The Content Factory. If you're the right person for the job, you'll become part of the Creative Studio, a diverse team of around 35 passionate doers, idea makers, and creative thinkers from around the globe. A team that has the creative muscles and the internal backing to build new, wild, unexpected, and beautiful solutions. Always with the intention to be relevant and to find answers to everyday problems in people's lives, for society, and the planet.

WHO YOU ARE
Would you like to play an active part in creating an IKEA fit for the future? If you're the one who understands the power of leading through communication and togetherness, who knows how to support other people to deliver their best work we should definitely talk. And hopefully, you could become part of this bunch of people-centered creatives, who like to make the magic happen but leave our egos at the door.
For this role, we believe you have knowledge of project leadership, creative processes, and people's preferences within the communication and media field. You have a great understanding of the complexity of the IKEA universe and the role of communication as an integrated part of the business. Furthermore, you have knowledge of how to lead change through communication with the business goals as well as co-workers and customers in focus.
You are able to challenge existing ideas as well as to simulate and evaluate new ones. You have the ability to perform work with care, accuracy, and attention to detail. You also know how to prioritise and make decisions with speed and simplicity.
Furthermore, what you need to have to succeed in this role:
• 5+ years working as a senior project leader for a large agency or brand
• 5+ years of developing business and delivering results
• Senior experience in managing and advising communication projects in a customer-centric business
• Minimum 5 years of both external and internal communication experience
• Experience in leading creative teams
• Preferred: knowledge of IKEA brand, culture, and values
At IKEA, you are welcome no matter where you come from, what you believe, and what you look like. We do not care how you furnished your home. We are interested in you simply because you are you. Our different views, backgrounds, and personalities make us better understand our customers, give us more work and spark more and better ideas. Perhaps your unique take on something could lead to a great idea that creates a better everyday life for the many people.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
When working as a Creative Project Leader you lead and develop global strategic and creative assignments, campaigns, and events, supporting business and communication development. You will lead these across functions within Ingka, with the markets, and in close collaboration with other IKEA organisations.
You'll be part of a brilliant and friendly team that always does their best to help each other out, but you're the one who'll focus on enabling and leading initiatives, both across functions within Ingka, with the markets, and with other IKEA organisations.
Some of your main responsibilities include:
• Initiate and lead assignments from start to finish; securing world-class creativity, excellence in execution, and follow-up on results
• Actively influence, collaborate, and engage with relevant stakeholders on all levels within the organisations to ensure the achievement of set goals
• Manage substantial budgets, follow up on investments, and ensure required resources to achieve set goals
• Create and maintain relationships with external consultants, managing the opportunities for collaboration and streamlining their use to optimise existing resources
• Actively seek opportunities and contribute to finding new ways of approaching new target groups
• Proactively contribute with inputs and expertise to Communications strategy and planning discussions, ensuring alignment with the creative vision
• Be a strong ambassador of IKEA, and our Tone of Voice and Visual Identity internally and externally
• Actively push for improvement of content creation, based on trends in communication and the late developments within the communication field
This role is a permanent position and will be located in Malmö, Sweden.
