The modeling tools and development group's goal is to create the best environment for development, configuration and deployment of virtual systems.
Simics is a simulator used for the definition, development and deployment of complex digital systems. It enables customers to improve their product development life-cycle.
Simics is fast, accurate, scalable and extensible, with a rich feature set and with models of processors, SoCs, devices, boards and complete systems. Simics is used internally at Intel and is available commercially to third parties through Intel's subsidiary, Wind River.

Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
The Software and Services Group (SSG) has an opening for a recently graduated (you should have graduated no more than 18 months ago) Software Engineer to work on the Simics simulation product.
The job consists of design, implementation and support of Simics software components in the areas of simulation performance and instruction set simulation. Simics is used for simulation and modeling of processor architectures, SOCs, devices, boards etc. in order to enable customers to improve their product development lifecycle with help of simulation.
Interactions with customers inside and outside Intel can be expected. The product development within the group includes both the development of the runtime engine (core parts) as well as hardware specific model development.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
The position requires a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or PhD degree (or the equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
You should have graduated no more than 18 months ago.
Fluency in English language is required.
No additional professional experience is required.
Interest in the fields of programming tools, languages, computer architecture, binary translation and virtual machines are all beneficial.
