WHO YOU ARE
As a member of the MG Community, you are steering and supporting the overall financial performance of Retail Sweden, contributing to its growth.
You possess a comprehensive understanding of financial steering and retail operation in an omni context. You demonstrate Business Navigation, strategic finance, and performance management where you demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the IKEA concept, brand identity, and the market. You have a strong financial strategic mindset creating an IKEA for generations to come, but also the operational skills to be able to deliver on daily basis.
You have a passion for leadership and a proven record of leading leaders. Your leadership style includes integrity and resilience. You build strong relationships by collaborating and co-creating, working collectively to drive innovation and positive change.
You lead and communicate effectively, influencing decisions with clarity and energy, yet with integrity connected to our compliance and legal agenda.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your influence extends far and wide where you will show continuous improvement by emphasizing cost efficiency and value chain advantage. You will align financial strategies with the overall IKEA Retail direction, optimizing profitable growth and asset value. Furthermore, you will;
• Lead the business plan together with the country management team while securing alignment with the retail direction plan.
• Lead the financial business plan process under the frame of the IKEA Group Financial strategy.
• Secure compliance with the local legislation and secure the statutory and fiduciary obligations of the boards.
• Ensuring that the operations of the country are compliant with INGKA Group Rules on Financial Control, Investments and Treasury.
• Lead and develop leaders and teams, focusing on business understanding, through IKEA leadership capabilities and ensuring IKEA values and culture.
• Secure compliance with IKEA Group Code of Conduct, Policies, standards, and rules and lead the development of a broad and proactive risk management approach that supports the country strategic direction and safeguard co-workers, visitors, and assets.
• Contribute to "good growth" securing profitability, optimization of assets and support a seamless and consistent customer experience in all IKEA touch points in combination with continuous improvement of ways of working.
• Responsible for Country Crisis Management Group (CMT)
