hela Sverige Aurora Construction Consultancy has an exciting position available for an ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate & Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Stockholm. This offers the opportunity to develop your career with a fully supported APC program, whilst working in a driven, hardworking, friendly and open environment.We are a great team, located in Stockholm, working on some of the most exciting, innovative and challenging projects across the Nordics. Being a scarce profession in Sweden we are looking for specific Industry knowledge that will help direct Aurora towards our Business goals.What does as a Cost Manager (Quantity Surveyor) at Aurora do?As a cost manager you have various of tasks and responsibilities, for example will you be:Preparation & production of Bills of Quantities to Industry Standards.Preparing Cost Plans for various Construction Projects.Cost Reporting.Swedish Contract Preparation, Tender Reviewing and Negotiations.Involved in Cost Control and Budgeting. Forecasting.Creating and Issuing Technical Due Diligence reports.Construction Scheduling.Main Contractor and Sub contractor Management.Must be aware and working towards RICS best practice.International Client facing experience.What Qualifications and Experience you will need?Recently qualified or with up to 3 years post degree or Proven Working Experience.Industry Specific Knowledge is a must.Be aspiring to be coming RICS accredited.Knowledge and experience of using construction estimating software, such as CostX, Bluebeam Revu etc.Having experience in working with calculations, project engineering or similar in the construction industry.Understanding and knowledge of Swedish Contractual Law. (ABK 09, ABT 06 etc.)Good knowledge of the Office package.Speaks, writes and understands Swedish and English.Fluent in any other Nordic language is a merit.Strong Quantity Surveying knowledge in both Pre and Post construction phases.Final Account Documentation.Invoice Payment and approval.Client-side communication.Ability to pro-actively contribute to value management and value engineering studies at project and programmer level.Experience of Commercial and Residential projects from inception to completion.
