We currently have the following job opening;

As Cost Estimator you will bee responsible for creating cost estimates from idea and concept phase to existing products. You will support the organization to choose the most cost efficient solutions out of your material and technical production skills. You understand and are skilled to analyze material cost and quality, suppliers production processes and tools as base for the cost estimates.

As Cost Estimator you will have a specialist role within your profession - supporting product development in the concept phase and the purchaser in supplier negotiations. You will have a close cooperation with the key users within the Finance, Product Development (R&D) and Purchase departments. Cost Estimators reports to Cost Estimating Director and is part of Finance Department.

Main tasks

- Providing R&D and Purchase department with specialist competence regarding cost estimate analysis on production tooling and part price.
- Acting as advisor/specialist in the cost target setting processes.
- When requested supporting R&D with cost specialist competences when evaluating and selecting technical concepts.
- Supporting buyers in supplier negotiations regarding tooling and part price.
- Leading and managing Cost Estimating of new or changed parts.
- Leading and managing development of Cost Estimating framework, instruction and processes - Cost elements definition - Estimating principals - Estimating process and interaction with other processes - Local process adaptations
- Leading and managing development of systems within cost estimating
- Executing and supporting internal benchmark activities

Required Qualifications

- Specialist knowledge in at least one of the fields.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including but not limited to the following electronics assemblies:
- PCB Assemblies ,
- Cable Assemblies (including Connectors), Hybrids, and Flex Circuits
- Automotive Infotainment
- Engineer / Experienced technician / Manufacturing engineer / maintenance with a background of lean experience in the automotive industry or in the supply chain.
- Knowledge in CAD and finance is an advantage.
- Fluency in English both written and oral
- Driven, problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
- High interpersonal skills and be able to drive projects
