Strategic Cost Engineering is now looking for a Cost Engineering Analyst that understands and want to challenge our costs on components.

Who are we?

We are a team with different nationalities, ages, talents and ideas. Our team have extensive experience and knowhow in materials, productions processes, calculations for products, production tools and development costs. We work closely with Purchasing, R&D and suppliers to try to find the right technology to the right price. What you will do

You will support Purchasing with high quality cost calculations to find cost saving potential and negotiation arguments, both from a greenfield and supplier specific perspective.

Main area of responsibility are Bus & Coaches, Spare Part, and Metal & Chassis components.

Moreover have an active role in the negotiations and supplier selection process together with the purchaser.

Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energized person with some work life experience. Preferably with background as Cost Analyst, Purchaser or Quality Engineer. You have a university degree within engineering, or business.

Your work includes a lot of interactions at different levels, both internally and cross-functionally, it is important that you have the ability to collaborate and build trust and are clear in your communication with others. You should have high integrity with a good judgment and can adapt to work according to Scania's company culture.

As the role will involve international contacts and travel, you need to be fluent in spoken and written English. Swedish or German, is an advantage as well as other language skills. Experience from working/studying abroad are meritorious.

Flexible work hours and travel alternatives: - Our office is close to trains from SJ where you can travel to Stockholm central in 20 minutes. - We have our own busses in the mornings from Stockholm central and from Liljeholmen, and back again in the afternoon.
