Description
We are looking for three Cost Engineers with broad experience who will work with:
• Cost breakdown and build up of part prices and tooling investments from the early development phase, through sourcing phase and change management process.
• Establish and build processes for the Cost Engineering organization.
• Continuous development of efficient procedures.
You will also support:
• Development engineering from the early development phase by advises regarding feasibility and cost efficient design.
• Buyers through sourcing process and change management which includes technical discussion with suppliers / partners.
• Supplier Quality, SQ, in all phases regarding production layouts etc. SQ will also support Cost Engineering.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Deep knowledge in:
- Employee 1: Polymer materials and manufacturing methods
- Employee 2: Metal forming, i.e: Casting, forging, plating and machining
- Employee 3: Electrical Hard- / Software, Infotainment, Wiring harness.
• Deep knowledge in process steps, tooling and dies for the applicable area.
• A Technical or Economic University degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in Cost Engineering
• Experience in Supplier Quality and Industrial Engineering
• Relevant experience in the automotive industry
• Experience in Cost management calculation software(s).
• Drivers License B
To be successful in this role you need to
• have industrial knowledge and functional understanding
• be humble and results-oriented teamplayer who can stand up for your opinion
• be easy to work with for both internal and external "partners"
Global travelling to suppliers / partners is a part of the role.
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
