Our business mainly consists of production and sales of dairy products (fresh products and cheese) and fruit drinks. The brands include Skånemejerier, Bravo, Allerum, Hjordnära, Åsens and Lindahls. We have approximately 350 dairy farmers in Skåne and Southern Sweden that deliver milk to our dairies.
Skånemejerier is a part of the French Lactalis Group since 2012, the world 's number one cheese producer and one of the largest dairy groups in the world, owning more than 240 industrial plants around the world. Lactalis is primarily known for their international brands; for example, Galbani and Prèsident which are sold across 160 countries. The Lactalis Group has a turnover of 17 billion euros and approximately 75,000 employees across the globe.

About the role
You will be based at our headquarters in Malmö, but since we have 4 production sites and farmers in southern Sweden there will be some travels. The job is fulltime and you will report to the Communications Director.
The Corporate Sustainability Manager role is a strategic position making sure practices, processes, products and procedures are fulfilling expectations in terms of social, environmental, and economical requirements in line with a sustainability strategy and at the same time enhance Skånemejerier 's position on the market working towards our vision. The position has a responsibility to publish Sustainability initiatives effectively to make the company more attractive and reputable in a variety of ways and requires strong leadership skills and independent improvement work. You will also have budget responsibility.
The Corporate Sustainability Managers is responsible for:
Defining framework and focus for Skånemejerier to remain relevant and leverage its full potential to support Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Capturing the essence of challenges to be tackled by turning them into operational commitments. Anchoring KPIs throughout the valuechain and establishing a transparent forum where action plans, sharing and discussion of examples and best practice can inspire, drive and accelerate the improvement work.
Continuously supporting the strategic corporate and brand value communication in line with the company Vision, Mission, Values and commitments.
Main tasks
• Sustainability Reporting in line with ÅRLs requirements and Directive 2014/95/EU.
• Ensure that company develop in line with legislative requirements connected to the sustainability field.
• Cooperation with research and other partnership for sustainable development.
• Participate in supplier meetings.
• Yearly budget and CRS plan. Defining and anchoring sustainability targets and strategies in the management team.
• Creating new ways of measuring improvement downstream and upstream.
• Leading a CSR group of the company (representatives from all parts of the value chain) which objective is to implement the corporate brand knowledge in the company and give input to development of CSR objectives and content. Following up on targets and action plans defined within the Sustainability Team.
• Managing different projects and partnerships pushing for sustainability development.
• Connecting sustainability brand activities with the company brand communication.
• Communicate core areas - animal welfare, environment, personal/individual health - to employees, consumers, customers and other stakeholders. Channels include but are not limited to: management /CSR-team, PR, social media, events, speeches/networking.
• Representative for Skånemejerier in different networks.
• External communication (interviews, articles, comments) relating to consumer questions on e.g Facebook
• Identifying relevancy in line with legislation, standards and initiatives on the market.
• Audit support (ISO 14001 auditing experience is preferred).
• Integrate Agenda 2030 and United Nation 's sustainability goals in the entire value chain.
Who are you?
We believe you have a minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the field, preferably from a producing industry and/ or food business. ISO 14001 auditing experience is preferred as well.
We are looking for an extrovert, proactive person with excellent communication -and leadership skills, who is self-motivated with a high energy level. You are able to build strong relations. You have the capacity to adapt quickly to change and you are "hands-on" with a strong ability to work and take responsibility in cross-functional teams and a matrix organization.
The position will demand considerable inputs on your part, offering you possibilities to make an impact on the CSR activities and overall future performance.
You need to have an interest in being up-to-date on legislation, standards and initiatives on the market related to CSR.
