CSR is a function within the Public Affairs unit at Vattenfall Group Function Communications whose mission is to build strong stakeholder relations with society to be able to influence opinion, conduct a dialogue and create an understanding for Vattenfall's operations, both in the short and long term. Main stakeholders for CSR and Public Affairs are politicians, authorities and NGO's. The Public Affairs team is also responsible for business intelligence, message platforms and communication. The team today consists of five members with responsibility for Group and Nordic Public Affairs and for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).Job descriptionAs the Group CSR Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of Public Affairs and a member of the Public Affairs and CSR team. Your main tasks will be to initiate, support the implementation of and align CSR activities within the Group with the business priorities. Your responsibilities also include follow-up and communication, internally and externally, of what Vattenfall does in the societies where we operate. Responsibilities include* To set the overall direction for CSR and how it should be communicated in the Vattenfall Group * To coordinate the CSR work within the company on all levels* To monitor progress and follow up CSR activities* To coordinate, facilitate and compile key results from Group stakeholder activities* To steer the CSR communication, incl publishing the CSR report * To indentify new CSR opportunities and activities within the GroupQualificationsYou have an academic degree, or relevant educationYou have experience from implementation of CSR policies and practices in a large companyYou have a deep understanding of the strategic importance of CSR-issues for a large company, including how to link CSR to profitability and overall business objectives You are very familiar with CSR and sustainability policies and guidelines, especially the Global Compact and GRI.You have knowledge and experience from the specific CSR challenges facing the energy sector You have excellent skills in English. The ability to speak other languages, especially Swedish, German or Dutch, is an advantage.We are looking for a person with- excellent strategic vision and capacity- great communications skills - well organized working mode- very good skills in cooperation- a strong CSR network in the business as well as in the NGO sectorYour personal characteristics will be highly valued.
