PwC currently has about 190 employees in our Swedish Corporate Finance business and we offer a wide range of services. Together with our customers, we work in projects to achieve lasting strategic changes.
Right now we are looking for associates for Corporate Finance starting in spring 2019
As an employee of Corporate Finance, you work in teams with experienced colleagues, where you receive constant competence development and an expanded responsibility based on your own interest and focus. You will join our international graduate program - Edge which means that you will be able to rotate between different competens teams. The purpose is to give our new employees the opportunity to build a broader competence and a larger network.
We are the largest Corporate Finance department in the region and offer a wide range of services where we help companies and their owners throughout the transaction chain - from analysis, valuation, financial due diligence and M&A advisors in connection with company acquisitions and company sales, to advice and problem solving in connection with business transfers, restructuring and financing.
We are growing, why we need to hire associates for the following departments within Corporate Finance:
Transaction Services: We work with financial due diligence and other transaction advisory services in connection with, in particular, major corporate acquisitions and divestments and PE portfolio transactions. Working with financial due diligence means, among other things, performing detailed analysis of a company's revenue and cost drivers, balance sheet, and cash flows.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Our market leading M&A team works mainly with sell mandates of mid sized companies and delivers innovative deal solutions, providing advice and support, industry and market knowledge, from initiation through to deal completion.
Valuation & Financial Modelling: We focuses on issues related to corporate valuation, financial analysis, share-based incentive programs and financial modelling. As an employee of our team, you can participate in valuing companies and other types of assets, preparing negotiation support for company transactions, and developing analyzes and Excel models for supporting investment decisions.
What we offer
As an Associate within PwC, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
You will, from the very first day, get a great deal of participation in projects and responsibilities in your role, which will give you good development opportunities and a broad knowledge base within the entire Corporate Finance area. The work includes financial analysis, gathering relevant information, market analysis and producing reports and similar materials.
Preferred skills
We are looking for applicants with an academic degree in economics or Engineering with a specialization in Finance who has knowledge of accounting, from industrial economics with good academic qualifications. You are newly graduated or have up to two years' experience from similar profession. This job requires a high working capacity, good language skills in English and Swedish as well as a very good analytical ability. You need to have knowledge of accounting and be an experienced user of Microsoft Excel. In addition, you also have a distinct business mind combined with a great commitment and a strong drive.

You can easily communicate and take on new information and you are motivated by keeping up to date with the technical developments in your area.
