PwC currently has about 190 employees in our Swedish Corporate Finance business and we offer a wide range of services. Together with our customers, we work in projects to achieve lasting strategic changes.
Right now we are hiring analysts to Corporate Finance in Gothenburg starting in January 2020 or August 2019!

Corporate Finance offer a wide range of services where we help companies and their owners throughout the transaction chain - from analysis, valuation, financial due diligence and M&A advisors in connection with company acquisitions and company sales, to advice and problem solving in connection with business transfers, restructuring and financing.
Corporate Finance Gothenburg today consists of 22 people. Now we are looking for analysts for the team that mainly works in the following two areas:
• Financial due diligence and other transaction advice in connection with company acquisitions and sales. Financial due diligence involves, among other things, a detailed analysis of a company's earnings, cash flows and value drivers.
• Company valuation and financial analysis. This involves, for example, company valuation, negotiation support for business transactions, preparation of documentation for investment decisions, and share-based incentive programs.
As a junior analyst you will, from the very first day, get a great deal of participation in projects and responsibilities in your role which will give you good development opportunities and a broad knowledge base within the entire Corporate Finance area. The work includes financial analysis, gathering relevant information, market analysis and producing reports and similar materials.
Responsibilities
As an Associate within PwC, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
You will, from the very first day, get a great deal of participation in projects and responsibilities in your role, which will give you good development opportunities and a broad knowledge base within the entire Corporate Finance area. The work includes financial analysis, gathering relevant information, market analysis and producing reports and similar materials.
Preferred skills
We are looking for applicants with an academic degree in economics or Engineering with a specialization in Finance who has knowledge of accounting, from industrial economics with good academic qualifications. You are newly graduated or have up to two years' experience from similar profession. A bachelor degree is required, and if you have a master degree that can be meritorious. This job requires a high working capacity, good language skills in English and Swedish as well as a very good analytical ability. You need to have knowledge of accounting and be an experienced user of Microsoft Excel. In addition, you also have a distinct business mind combined with a great commitment and a strong drive.
To thrive with us, you work efficiently, are an explicit team player and are happy to share your experience and knowledge. You can easily communicate and take on new information and you are motivated by keeping up to date with the technical developments in your area. It is advantageous if you have an interest in the business sector and the stock market.
