JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Communications team delivers various media (for online and offline channels) such as videos, animations, collaterals, infographics, newsletters, web banners, technical illustrations and more. Our role is to maintain brand consistency and provide efficient communication to different target groups. We also organize conferences, tradeshows and customer visits.
We are now looking for a Corporate Event coordinator for 14 months temporary contract with start in March 2019.
As Events Coordinator, your main responsibilities are coordination of tradeshows and conferences. You will work with the daily administration of tradeshows and conferences together with subsidiaries, ensuring our messaging platform is targeting the right audience.
The role will include work such as:
Coordination of the graphics and messaging for tradeshows ensuring all elements (i.e. technical equipment and graphics) fit together.
Manage each project together with our regions, product teams and technical event team.
Handle logistics including organization with vendors and all paperwork for shipping.
Maintenance of event portal on intranet and microsites.
Tradeshow and conference administrative work such as participation lists, organizing booth staff and follow up of leads results and evaluation.
The position involves travelling (around 20 days per year) to various regional events to support mounting and dismantling of tradeshow equipment, which requires some physical work. In this role, you are, from time to time, expected to be able work outside of normal office hours and weekends.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a detailed-oriented, well-organized individual who is able to take initiative. We believe you are outgoing, a good team player and leader who can drive projects toward common goals as well as build close relationships with Axis colleagues and partners. When necessary, you should also be able to take charge of some of the practical work which comes with a booth setup.
It's important that you have a feeling for communication/graphic design and that you have the ability to incorporate Axis graphic identity into the messaging at tradeshows as well as meeting the local needs.
You should have a university degree or similar in project management and/or marketing communications or equivalent. Suitable candidates have at least 2-3 years of previous experience from a similar role involving administration, graphics, project planning, and logistics. Experience from the international tradeshows has high importance.
You must have experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge in Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, are a must and additional languages are a plus.

Marketing Communications is part of the Corporate Marketing department, where the team also cooperates with academy, partner marketing, segment- and product marketing. Marketing communications supports all subsidiaries with graphic and digital related designs.
