About the job
In this key role, that touches the two areas of Strategy Execution and Corporate Business Development, you support definition, coordinate, facilitate and follow-up Strategic Plan and enterprise initiatives. You participate in establishing Center of Excellence for Strategic Portfolio Management and furthermore taking initiative in identifying, exploring, and developing business opportunities for Sandvik Coromant.
Your responsibilities include supporting functions in enterprise and cross-functional initiatives as well as coordinating and performance managing our Strategic Plan initiatives. By being on top of things, you continuously scan market and technology trends that have the potential of influencing our business - you operate Opportunity Management activities in order to focus on identification and development opportunities in adjacent business areas. You support in packaging and provide with input to the Strategy Core Team and Strategic Plan review process as well as operate business development projects with strategic importance for Sandvik Coromant.
You're a significant sounding board to our management team and report directly to Head of Strategy Execution and Corporate Business Development. The location for this position is preferably Stockholm or Sandviken, and international travel is included in your job.
Your profile
We need someone with a master's degree and at least a few years' experience from working in an industrial B2C setting, preferably within Business Development, Finance, Product Management, Product Development or similar. Our industry is in different stages of digitalization, so you will benefit greatly by having knowledge and experience with digital transformations and digitalization of offers as well as e-commerce. Knowledge of the Office 365 suite is required, and experience and competence in Artificial Intelligence is a strong advantage. Furthermore, we are adopting more agile ways of working so experience in this field is also of great benefit.
In addition to these areas, we are driving a very ambitious agenda in the area of Sustainable Business, both in terms of our own operations but also our offering to our customers, making experiences in the area of great value. You're a qualified business developer, with extensive experience of strategic transformation and project management, as well as great skills in tools and methods used in this line of work. You're eager to learn about our market and the opportunities and challenges we're facing. We operate worldwide, and this calls for an open mind and cultural awareness - you're used to working cross both functions and borders and you need excellent communication skills in English.
You're curious, entrepreneurial and self-going, and at the same time structured and analytical. You utilize your business acumen, drive and strategic abilities to ensure success, and you're not afraid of challenging our matrix organization.
