JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis is the global market leader in network video, driving the ongoing shift from analog to digital video surveillance. In order to stay on top we must understand what users within the network video market want and need in the future, and provide a corresponding technology basis that enable Axis to efficiently develop purposeful and highly competitive products and features. AsCore Software Developeryou will function as a bridge between core technology development and product development, making competitive products and features possible.
You will work in close collaboration with experts in different areas and your main tasks will be to develop our platform to support technologies like vision and imaging and to prototype concepts in SW and FPGA environment.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Master’s degree in computer science or similar and are a dedicated and innovative individual with a strong personal drive. We believe you have a keen interest in low level development and that you have good C programming skills and experience from Linux. Teamwork is crucial for Axis as a whole and for the Product Platform team, therefore we believe it’s important that you can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
Experience of FPGA development and System Verilog is considered a merit.
OUR PRODUCT PLATFORM TEAM
The Product Platform team is responsible for a technology platform used in all Axis products. The team works with the development of Linux Kernel, drivers and application frameworks for technologies like vision and imaging. We also contribute with our expertise in product project, prototype tasks and customer related assignments.
