The Manager, Core Manufacturing Engineering Paint, will be a part of the Manufacturing Engineering Paint department. This department is responsible to develop and implement vehicle programs and engineering changes into the global production sites within the area of paint and surface treatment.

Job description
The job is to manage company business and people resources effectively and to set future business direction within area of Core engineering paint. The Core Manager Paint demonstrates personal leadership in support of company business objectives and desired company work culture.
Main Tasks:
Lead, develop and manage the paint core team.
Secure annual process and yearly work deliveries within the Paint area.
Secure program deliveries from pre-start to launch.
Organize work and resources so that company objectives, short and long-term are met in an efficient manner.
Manage to implement a process driven product development with focus on effective and quality secured production and robust design/process solutions.
Utilize assigned company resources effectively to add value to the business and/or support value creation activities in the business.
Manage and allocate the assigned work effectively to ensure that each employee is able and motivated to contribute to their maximum potential to sustainable business success.
Lead in a manner which supports the desired company work culture.
Qualifications and competence requirements:
Senior high school / university level.
Leadership skills.
Experience of engineering work, preferably in the paint area.
Knowledge about paint and surface treatment process.
High integrity.
Holistic view.
Ability to create good long term relationships with employees and other stakeholders.
Ability to inspire and motivate others.
Good communication skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel.
