We are looking for a new Project Manager in Production, for new product introductions and other improvement projects.
The job
Situated in Production and Supply Chain, with direct reference to the Vice President of the area, you will be part of a team of four project coordinators. The team is responsible for the coordination of a successful workflow between Product Development and Production, when introducing new products.
As a Project Coordinator you will be an important player in the development and implementation of new products. You will be involved in all aspects from the early project phases until a successful implementation into our local production facilities.
Supporting the Project Managers in Development and Production, you will be coordinating the effort of purchasers, planners, production engineers, technicians etc. in development projects.
As reference to the Vice president of Production and Supply Chain you will also be managing improvement projects of various kinds in a continuously improving organization.
We are two coordinators situated in Hillerød, Denmark and two in Höganäs, Sweden. The vacant position is in Höganäs.
Qualifications
We assume that you are an Engineer within production technology or product development (E or M), and have some years of experience.
We will prefer applicants who have some experience with project managing, preferably from production.
We draw on methods like Design for Manufacturing, Modular design and Lean production, which we expect you to be familiar with.
Personal skills
We are looking for a person who is goal-oriented, self-dependent and strategically thinking. Who combines the ambitious drive to lead and coordinate projects, with a strong sense of when to take part in the practical, day-to-day work.
