If so, keep reading - we at FlexLink have a great opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join us! This is us As our new Controls Engineer you will be part of the department of Standard Controls. We are currently a team of 9 people including our manager and we are the technology drivers within FlexLink. We evaluate new solutions and technologies related to controls before bringing them into R&D-projects or system sales. We also provide expert knowledge in relevant standards, regulations and technologies.We are now looking for you, our newest colleague, to strengthen our team and help us speed up the development of our projects!This is what you will doIn this role, you will design, develop & maintain the FlexLink Controls platform - our preferred platform of technology and system architecture for controlling modules and complete lines. It involves developing internal standards, guidelines, tools and complete functions for material flow solutions. You will also:Be responsible for managing subprojectsPrepare technical presentations and train controls engineers within FlexLinkCooperate closely with the project fulfillment organizationCooperate with other Coesia resources. This is you To be successful in your new role, we believe that you hold an engineer degree with at least 5 years of work experience. You are a driven, creative and enthusiastic person that is able to work independently. You have attention to details and have good analytical skills combined with your structured way of working. Other skills are:Good application knowledge within industrial automationExperience in automation architectures involving multiple products and technologiesSolid PLC, HMI/SCADA programming experienceExperience in Siemens and Rockwell systems is a meritGood experience in industrial communication, motion control and safety engineeringYou will be part of a global organization and therefore you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
