The challenge: You will be a part of a small and friendly team who helps each other and exchange experiences. As a Systems Engineer, you will mainly be responsible for process analysis and control-tuning/optimization of QCS-applications on paper
machines. The optimization work is very exciting and rewarding and almost always performed at location. Our travels are mostly within Scandinavia but also cover most of
Europe. As a new team member you will be trained on our systems, application software, control methods and tools.
The requirements: You hold a Bachelor or Master of Engineering and preferably have experience from the process industry. Moreover, you are used to working with MPC and
modern analysis tools. However, with spirit, talent and the will to learn, you could also recently have finished your studies. Any experience from the pulp and paper industry
and or process industry is considered a plus. You have a large technical interest and excellent command of English, spoken and written alike. On a personal level, you are very outgoing and have excellent networking skills. It is important to establish and
maintain good relations to your customers. You are also well-organized and innovative.
You will be a key player of ABB Pulp & Paper within Process and
Automation. We invent and produce systems and deliver control solutions for the pulp and paper industry. Our main objective is to improve our customers' processes. By delivering systems and performing optimizations we reduce the environmental impact,
improve end quality and increase profitability. The department is responsible for servicing the needs of existing customers, take a large role in promoting, selling and commissioning new projects. Pulp and Paper is also responsible for the global business
area Pulp and Paper, and for delivery of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and integrated DCS/QCS solutions in Europe. The whole unit has approximately 80 and the department 25 coworkers.
