Job Description
Our client, within the retail- industry, are now looking for controller who has business focus and leaderskip skills and likes having a wide role in a dynamic and fast-paced organization!
As a controller you will partner with the Business Tech leads to set, drive and support steering towards strategic direction and short and long term goals, business effects as well as cost efficiency. A key part of your responsibility is to manage the financial planning and tracking the realization of established financial goals. You facilitate the group to take the best decision possible by ensuring financial accuracy throughout the global Business Tech. To be successful in this role, you have great leadership skills, believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. You will focus on value creation, growth and serving customers with full ownership and accountability. Delivering exceptional customer and business results. You will be a sparring partner to BT Leaders providing fact-base (e.g. calculating business cases) as decision support for strategic direction and the achievement of goals business effect. You seek opportunities and proactively monitor the performance and initiate actions to constantly drive efficiency and cost consciousness within Business Tech. Furthermore you work with quality assure and consolidate financial plans for the different functions, and ensures alignment of priorities and goals. You have responsibility for budgets and financial planning and monthly and quarterly follow-up with key stakeholders to ensure robust and accurate. You also support the product team to ensure that financial guidelines and best practices are implemented and followed.
Qualifications
• you have a few years of experience working as a controller.
• you have experience from working with financial accounting and profit and loss.
• you have worked with forecasts, analysis and statistics.
• you have knowledge in agile framework.
• you have knowledge in portfolio management in an agile environment.
• -you have the ability to understand agile principles and incorporate them towards Lean budgeting
• you have experience från Business Intelligence tools, for example Power BI and Excel Modelling.
Personal qualities
As a person you have strong communicative skills and are pedagogical. You have excellent analytical skills to analyze complex problems and data and have the ability to create a storyline. You have ability to translate strategic ambitions into tactical financial planning and optimized use of resources. Furthermore you understand needs and objectives and translate them into a financial context. You are curious, prestige-less and always strive to find the best solution.
Admission and Application
Full time position. The position will start 2020-11-16 and the assignment is expected to run even until the 2021-06-30 with possibility of extension.
