Business Division Asset Development runs major development projects and research and development initiatives in Vattenfall. Our mission is to safely deliver the right projects on time, within budget and according to specifications. Our task is to ensure consistent portfolio management, development of benchmark project skills and control, as well as increased efficiency of R&D. We consist of 5 Business Units, Engineering (Engineers grouped by competence, deployed in projects in BD Asset Development and in the other BDâ's) R&D projects (responsible for identifying, developing and implementing value adding technical solutions) Thermal projects ( development and execution of Moorburg, Magnum, Twingo and other Thermal projects), Nuclear and hydro projects (responsible for development and planning of large projects for Nuclear and Hydro as well as all new build initiatives) and Project Governance & Improvement ( responsible for Project assurance, Project economics and project performance improvement within Asset Development and other BD.)
We are approx 1400 employees located mainly in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark
We are now looking for a controller to our Business Unit Nuclear & Hydro Projects and specific AD projects
As Controller of BU Hydro & Nuclear you will be responsible for:
• Implementation and development of the Vattenfall and BD Asset Development finance and accounting processes in the BU
• Financial planning and forecasting, reporting and analysis for BU Nuclear & Hydro as well as for specific Asset Development projects
• Financial Accounting, including ordering function for Shared Service
• Liaison to the SSC and make sure that work is executed according to specification and Vattenfall policy's
• Business Controlling processes, such as support in the business planning and business decision processes, as well as participation in controller related development projects
• Give financial advice to management of the BU You report to the Head of Controlling in BD Asset Development.
Qualifications
• You are an economics or business school graduate or similar
• You have an extensive experience from Finance and/or Controlling
• Knowledge from the Hydro /Nuclear operations is an advantage
• You are fluent in English and Swedish

• You are proactive in business controlling and have a strong focus in business partnership.
• You have a thorough understanding of key financial processes and like to work with figures and make thorough analyses without losing the big picture.
• You are skilled in creating good relations and truly like to co-operate with others.
• You are used to taking initiative and have the ability to act according to Vattenfall policies, goals and core values
