• Developing and maintaining the Information System used by the controlling department

ALTEN is looking for a controller to our headquarters in Gothenburg!
In the role as Controller, you will be part of our Finance unit, which consists of four departments with 37 employees. You will be part of a controller team of six people and will report to the controlling manager. In your role, you will work close to the business and act like a business partner. You will be responsible for the operational reporting and financial follow-up of various departments (analysis of results for different business areas/projects, result variances explanations, monitoring of margins).
Qualifications:
• A master degree or equivalent in business administration or similar
• 1-3 years of controlling experience from finance functions
• Fluent English and Swedish in speech and writing
• Very good knowledge of Excel and good ability to handle large amounts of data.
To be successful in the position you will need to have an interest in information systems and have good analytical skills. For us the most important thing is not your previous controlling experience but that you are motivated and skilled in excel and information systems. Previous experience from audit companies is meritorious. As a person, you are driven and determined with a strong interest to learn and share ideas. You are flexible and open for changes. Furthermore, you are well structured and have strong problem solving skills.
