As Global Controller, you will lead the global department finance operations. You will plan, execute and follow-up financial strategies and activities. You will strive to provide actionable analysis supporting the improvement of the overall performance of the departments. You will also support the business line managers to drive performance and ascertain business control and you will participate in the development of the competences through an active and shared competence plan.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the global implementation of the financial processes supporting the controlling of the global departments. Therefore you will interact with the controlling organization and other functions to secure synergies and alignment in processes and tools.
You will be involved and be pro-active in establishing and driving global initiatives related to Business Control and for the development of the team, the processes and the tools.
Your main operational responsibilities are:
Communicate financial policies and principles in the organization
Develop robust processes
Drive the Budget and Estimate process and associated output
Participate in objective setting for the global function
Perform analysis and propose required decisions and action plans securing cost control and efficiency
Secure robust and documented decision material for the management
Participate in the performance reviews
Follow up the decided action plans
You will secure a culture of continuous improvement developing and maintaining appropriate financial global processes and systems on the five main areas of Business Control: Operational Consolidation, Controlling, Forecasting and Budgeting.
Profile
You are good at motivating people and known to be a team player with a lot of positive drive.
You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to gain trust and support from team members and colleagues.
You are open minded, show synthetic capability and you're able to work in a large and international network of team members; You are innovative and look for opportunities in developing solutions which will fit tomorrow's needs.
Experience
Preferably 3 years in similar position.
At least three years of experience from leading people through projects, process development or as a manager
You have experiences from driving change initiatives in an international environment and you are result and process oriented. You have been specifically successful in driving initiatives related to business control.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this position we believe you have a M.Sc. in Business Administration and that you have a good selection of the following qualities:
