Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Our customers are mainly construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and retailers. Wood Products operates globally and has more than 20 production units in Europe.
We are now looking for a Controller to substitute maternity leave at Ala Sawmill in Ljusne.
Work description
As Controller you will be a member of the Operations Northern Europe controlling team. We offer you a great opportunity to be responsible for both mill level controlling tasks as well as some special assignments for total Operations Northern Europe unit. The work covers a wide range of controlling, analyzing & reporting tasks and offers a possibility to participate and run development projects. The position is fixed term substitute.
In the role as Controller your main responsibilities will be:
• Support management on reaching and understanding operational objectives
• Management financial support for decision making
• Closing processes
• Reporting and rolling forecasting
• KPI analysis, follow up and feedback
• Develop processes & tools for Operations Controlling performance management
• Ensure Operations Controlling Compliancy to rules & legislation
• Testing, documentation and compliance of internal controls
• Pipeline profitability
• Internal controls
Qualifications
Much of the work is self-directed and requires a high amount of proactivity and motivation. Therefore it's important that you have a sense of responsibility for daily routines as well as for demanding tasks. We are searching for a person with strong work ethic and with ability to multitask and quickly take in new information. You are curious with strong analytical skills and at work you have a structured and systematic approach.
You have a candidate degree in Economics and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling. Also other similar experience that we value equivalent can be considered. Knowledge of accounting and reporting tools is seen as a merit. (SAP, Hyperion, MS Office). You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
