The Body Shop SE&DK is now recruiting a full time Controller for a 1 year temporary cover. The role is primarily responsible for providing sound financial advice and guidance to the Scandi (Sweden, Denmark) market, ensuring that all financial reports are provided in a timely and accurate manner.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Help Financial Controller to prepare monthly closings, budget construction and follow ups
Support customers (Franchisees, Wholesale) with financial questions, stock queries etc.
Bring continuous improvement to the Controlling and Finance function by developing a set of reports to follow up turnover and costs as well as improving business understanding and collaboration across functions
Partnering with the Business to understand activity plan and its impact on Turnover/Gross margin
Support internal reporting towards The Body Shop International
Other projects within the field depending on business/department needs
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Ability to drive your own projects and take initiatives
You appreciate details yet can explain figures with a business rationale
Fluent in Swedish and/or Danish and English
SAP/ BW R3 knowledge (not a requirement, but definitely a plus)
Sound knowledge of MS office core programs with advanced skills in Excel
Confidence working within a fast paced environment with multiple business partners
Analysis and organization skills
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
2-3 years' experience of working in Controlling
Preferable working experience from retail or similar business field
QUALIFICATIONS
Business school degree (Handelshögskolan) or equivalent
LOCATION Stockholm head office at Södermalm, Münchenbryggeriet. Limited travelling within Sweden and to our office in Copenhagen
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT Full time 40 hours/week, 1 year temporary cover with a possible extension.
STARTDATE: Mid Janurary
