Michelin is now seeking to recruit a Controller for commercial cost and Credit to our Nordic head office in Stockholm. We work fully flexible in a newly renovated office, based in Södermalm.

This position requires you to act as a business partner in every aspect. Your mission will be to work with analysis of both credit and the commercial costs, and you will work with a Nordic scope. As a credit analyst, you will work with credit assessment and follow-up with a focus on risk whilst keeping business needs in mind. For the commercial costs you will provide management with timely reports of variances compared to forecast and previous year, and propose corrective action where applicable.

Your work tasks will include (but are not limited to):

• Carry out financial analysis and define appropriate credit limits and risks
• Follow-up payment delays, define action plans and management of provisions
• Act as a business partner towards internal and external clients to determine the appropriate credit set-up and develop processes
• Design, develop and validate reporting tools and dashboards for the financial department to increase productivity and improve customer satisfaction
• Advice and challenge on decision-making matters and be responsible for and monitor implementation of decisions taken
• Analysis of MTD and YTD costs, understand variances and discuss with managers
• Prepare and optimize the rolling forecasts, ensure accuracy of data
• Correct and inform when accounting quality not optimal and do what is needed to improve the standards of cost accounting
• Be a key support to local Chief Accountant in ensuring smooth internal operations, ongoing cooperation with our external partners and developing the Finance Function.

The person we are looking for should have a bachelor or master's degree within Accounting and Finance. Ideally, you have been working for a minimum of 3-5 years within Credit risk management and/or Controlling. A possible next step for you in our company could be Business Controller or Chief Accountant, so great if this matches also your aspirations. We require you to be fluent in English, as this is our company language, but you also need to speak Swedish fluently. Another Nordic language is an advantage but not a must.

You need to have advanced Excel skills as we often use macro programming and focus on automation of processes.

As a person you should have the ability to see potential improvements and drive change. Since the financial department has peaks with high workload and clear deadlines, we need you to be able to prioritize on your own. This position has a lot of contacts on all levels in the organization, both in the Nordics, in our shared service center in Bucharest, within our region Europe North and with our head-office in France. Therefore you need to have strong communication skills, be a team-player and like to work in cross-cultural teams.
