About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido is looking for a Controller. The client is a major company and a well-known name in the automotive industry. Controlling is a true business partner to management of all parts of the organization to drive and support financial business performance, risk management and value creation. This position is placed in Arendal, Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
You will deliver financial analysis and guidance to Vehicle Engineering, striving to maximize the added value through improved business performance. You oversee the financial reporting and analysis. You report to the VP of Vehicle Business Control. Your responsibilities include, but are not excluded to the following:
Consolidate monthly financials for all sites for both Vehicle Engineering and Vehicle Technology
Secure month end closing deliveries
Take the lead in quarterly expense forecasts and estimates
Consolidate the CAPEX forecast and lead quarterly review for both organizations in your role as Global Investment Controller
Work actively with continuous improvements of methods and tools
Secure cost control and efficiency, ensuring the fulfillment of the company's procedures
Ad hoc financial analysis

Qualifications:
University degree, Masters level preferred
Minimum two years of controlling experience
IT proficiency- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & SAP R/3
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English
Meritorious
Knowledge of Power BI
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2023-12-31. Start 2023-04-03.
