External Relations & Communication is responsible for Vattenfall's stakeholder relation in order to secure required trust and license to operate. The function provides at strong central unit of competence and authority for all key stakeholder relations. You will be employed in the Staff Function Group Control that is responsible for steering and direction of the Group Finance Functions based on directives from the Group CEO and CFO as well as providing expertise in areas that are specialised and shared across the Group.
Job Description
The assignment is to develop a controlling structure for the Staff Function ER&C, both from an economic perspective but also from a business perspective.
Main tasks and responsibilities: Establish and maintain the reporting process Responsible for the monthly and quarterly reporting Coordinate the planning- and forecast process Support for management in controlling relevant questions Analysis activities from a Group perspective. Development and governance of financial performance and management concepts Develop strategies for following up on how activities contribute to the benefit of the organization Responsible for running improvements and change project in respect to the above areas in cooperation with the staff functions and Business Units
Qualifications:
To handle this tasks both an analytical and strategic thinking is required where the details are not forgotten in the big picture. The assignment requires both qualitative screening and quantitative analysis of ER&C activities, including being able to communicate in a comprehensible way the results to the relevant stakeholders and decision makers.
Background in economics, preferably working experience in controlling or accounting related assignments
Knowledge of reporting tools
English is necessary, other language is advantageous
