What we offer

The leap is massive. From a manufacturer of cars to a mobility provider. At Volvo Cars, we have just recently embarked on this journey and are now looking for a Digital Controller to Business Finance in Product Creation, to enable our success.
What you'll do
As a Digital Controller you will be able to both create, develop and influence your daily work.
You will be part of a team of five Digital Controllers, with focus on supporting and work closely together with the Digital function. You will be responsible for controlling one or several areas as well as having a digital overall perspective.
We highly value your contribution in the management teams and ability to operationalize financial targets. You will work continuously with moving targets and outlook, long-term business planning and specific business cases. Other tasks are to evaluate financial impact on operational development and improvement initiatives together with continuous improvements of the financial processes.
Increasing the transparency of the Digital spending is an ongoing challenge. Hence, you are business minded and can provide an external perspective. Furthermore, you will also drive financial mindset and business acumen within Digital.
Do you fit the profile
We are looking for someone with a passion and skills in controlling and preferably experience from an IT or tech-driven organisation. You have strong business acumen and good analytical skills. We welcome your ability to interpret and communicate financial information in a contextual and visual manner, in a collaborative trust creating manner.
We believe that you educated in a relevant area within economics, engineering or similar at the bachelor level at the least. Furthermore, you take strong leadership in everything you drive, with both your business acumen, and integrity, as well as a true team player.
Our expectation is that you are fluent in English, a great communicator and also, we value experience in Power Bi.
As a person you have a "controller mindset", i.e. you have a curious personality and see potential in new business opportunities. You have a strong drive to help the organisation to improve their financial processes and decisions. With that comes social skills and a willingness to share knowledge, as well as the ability to work proactively and with a positive attitude.
