Stena Line's People & Communications department has a crucial part in this journey, supporting the delivery of the Company Strategy. We are going from people making decision based on gut-feeling to people (and sometime machines) making fact and data-based decision. Therefor we need some help along the way and are looking for someone who can deliver mainly C&B data and facts from the People organisation.

What will you do?
As Controller for Compensation & Benefits (C&B) you will be a key resource in developing and implementing a C& B structure in Stena Line. It will be your mission to secure that we deliver qualitative data and facts for this area and provide proactive decision support as well as follow up. You will support our Head of Compensation & Benefit and help to provide insight, statistics and analysis to different parts of the Company. You will be responsible for People & Communications financial reporting, budgeting and follow up including overall employee related costs. The role can be quite ad hoc, one day you could be presenting information and one day you could be investigating deviations in personnel cost. You will also get to work with all our regions, so if you are looking for a role with an international touch - this is it!

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Be the key position to take responsibility of all Compensation & Benefits (C&B) related data
• Be the master in compiling presentations when it relates to C&B data and other facts and figures
• Support to regional Group HR & Regional People Managers in C&B related matters
• Budget/Forecast for People & Communication units
• Follow up/analysis of Profit & Loss for People & Communications (P&C)
• Monitor total personnel cost for the group and follow up if deviations
• Update of authorisation matrix & other governance related issues within P&C
• Support contact within HR for Business Controllers and Finance in their understanding/follow up/ad hoc on personnel cost
• Ad hoc analysis & investigations when required
• Resource in driving the digital agenda for P & C within area of competence

Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. To be successful and enjoy this role, we think you have a mix of loving structure but also being prepared for daily upcoming ad hoc questions. You should definitely have excellent analytical skills, work well independently and have an interest in digging deep into the numbers. You love simplicity but also have extreme attention to detail (balance here is key!). Being your approachable self, you are a bit of social chameleon that can make data understandable and loves making presentation (both the actual Power Point as well as presenting it).

The must-haves:

• Bachelor in Finance/Economics or equivalent experience
• Some experience in controlling, accounting or similar (you understand accounting and how it all comes together). If you then also have worked within C&B related area - even better!
• Experience working in finance and/or business systems
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English
