As controller at the production company in Örebro you will be a high-performing member of the controlling team (3 persons) and also be a part of our Production management teams, other cross-functional forums and interact with different departments on a daily basis.
You have a positive and outgoing attitude, high interest in people and knowledge within Finance. Collaboration with the Business controller is key, as well as with other functions such as Planning, Sourcing and Parts Preparation. Underground divisions is a division within Epiroc employing approximately 1 500 people and located in our product companies (Sweden, China, India) and Customer Centers worldwide.
Your mission
Your mission as Controller is to, together with the business controller, ensure correct and timely financial reporting. You shall also coordinate required process improvements, financial and non-financial, training and ensure awareness about the financial impact from different decisions. As controller, you have a proactive approach in a cross-functional organization where operational understanding is key.
Your responsibility:
• Responsible for month, quarter and year end closing and reporting, where correctness and deadlines are important. Budget and expectancy reporting
• Follow up and analyze production, adjustments to cost of sales and product cost, and trends in inventory to ensure correctness, understanding and proactively initiate improvement initiatives
• Continuously develop/improve routines and processes and ensure proactivity and actions
• Collaboration with other local functions and users to support and develop processes and also secure the quality within processes.
• Be a key user for Controlling in our business system M3, including active participation in forums and development projects
• Work in close relationship with controllers in other entities and with the Epiroc Finance Center of excellence
• Responsible for one of three business line, profit and loss and balance sheet.
• Ensure that possible red flags are raised to management
• Internal control including external and internal audits
• Support management with financial analyzes and decision material

Your profile
For this role you need to have analytical and motivating personality with strong communication skills and positive attitude. Curious mindset and with high interest in learning and your own personal development & growth. You also need to have a high interest in questions around ERP systems and processes used. You have an agile mindset and can manage changes in the organization. The role demands both working with details and strategic tasks and being flexible in planning when needed, but main responsibility to secure finance processes. You take great personal responsibility and self-driven. You have a Finance degree on university level or other relevant background and experience, at least 3-5 years of work experience. You also have good knowledge in cost accounting. Experience of working in complex ERP systems is a requirement, and if you have knowledge in M3 it is a plus. Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English is required.
