We are looking for a Controller with focus on R&D located at Sandvik Mining and Construction's (SMC) Head Office in Sandviken. The Business Area is growing rapidly and we need to strengthen the organization further. The successful candidate will have good opportunities to influence the department in the future.
The SMC Finance department today consists of six people and you will report to the Manager Business Finance Control SMC. You will work in an international environment, with extensive communication with our managers worldwide.
Key performance areas
• Work closely with SMC Research & Development department (lead the R&D budget process, review R&D business cases, develop life time operation cost model).
• Ensure efficient financial operations regarding financial reporting and analysis.
• Follow up on financial processes.
• Review activities to detect problems and errors.
• Develop analysis tools.
Your Profile
A University degree within Technology & Economics or Finance and three to five years of experience from finance/controlling is required. Experience from research and development areas is an advantage. You are analytical, have the ability to handle large amounts of information and are able to prioritize. You have experience from and have interest in IT tools. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. We believe that you prefer to work in a flexible fast moving environment. We assume that you have the ability to work independently and responsibly with little supervision in a network environment.
The job includes international traveling.
