Maersk Line Scandinavia has a new opportunity for a structured, results oriented individual looking to make an impact on the Customer CARE team.

The Control Team Associate will be responsible for working alongside the Customer Service & Operations teams to ensure all cargo is being correctly loaded & released. This individual will need to have a good understanding of the shipping industry as well as how the loading process works.

The position can be based either in Gothenburg, Oslo or Aarhus.

Key responsibilities:
• The control team is in charge of making all proactive checks on export and import shipments to remove all roadblocks that may prevent cargo to be loaded or released, in order to enhance the customer experience with Maersk Line.
• In close coordination with operations and with customer service, the team is dealing with a wide scope of tasks.
• Chasing customers for missing information.
• Handling last minute issues to "save "boxes.
• Coordinating with the customers and internal departments to make things happen.
• Tracking the long standings all over the world for Scandinavian customers and rerouting them case needed accordingly.
• Maintaining the corporate website with a useful set of operational information for customers.

We are looking for:
• Extremely structured, able to cope with multiple priorities.
• Looking for excellence.
• Learning on the fly and curious, process oriented: they have to understand the processes, and potential impact of any of their actions.
• Analytical skills required, to understand and manage complex situations.
• Going the extra mile, they need to be result oriented. Determined to have boxes loaded, and making all what is possible to make things happen.
• Good shipping background.
• Easy speaking, as they are in constant contact with customers and other internal departments
• Full fluency in English, one of the Scandinavian languages will be an asset.
