Your profile
* Bachelors of Science Degree in an Engineering ( Mechanical or Electrical Preferred)
* 8-10 years of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through working on Industrial Applications Products in Controls and Instrumentation Engineering
* Demonstrable knowledge of Turbo Machinery Engineering processes, business software, and technology for Control Systems of Industrial Applications Products - Gas Turbines (Small, Medium, or Aeroderivative); Turbo Compressors (STC, DATUM, or RF); Reciprocating Compressors; Steam Turbines, Electric Motor Drives, HV Generator Controls and associated auxiliary systems
* Application experience with Allen Bradley PLC and Siemens PCS 7 hardware and software is required as well as must be proficient with Control System Architecture and integration with various third party control systems using industrial communication protocols
* Must be familiar with Industry Standards including Offshore Classification rules, applicable API standards for Electrical and Control Systems and Cyber Security
* Must be familiar with Control Panel design, including related Engineering, Manufacturing and Supplier costs and have experience working with P&IDs and ISA/ANSI, ISO standards.
Your responsibilities
* Contribute to generic scope of delivery documentation regarding control systems
* Review and comment on technical specifications received from clients for rotating equipment proposals
* Develop cost estimates for proposals considering all relevant stakeholders, such as Customer Order Engineering, Product Line Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
* Work and coordinate Control Systems configurations across multiple engineering platforms and locations and deliver a unified engineering solution for a project.
* Innovate, creatively apply lessons learned, and implement cost-effective solutions for proposal support, requirements management, and order-handover, that prevent non-conformances during Project Execution
* Support measures that yield year-on-year Engineering cost-productivity benefits in both Proposal and Project Execution phases
