We are looking for a person to work with the control SW development of the propulsion systems.
Electromobility systems within Driveline Systems department is responsible for development of electromobility systems including electrical motors, power electronics, energy storages, and software to control the systems and complete driveline. We work with the complete development cycle from design and implementation to testing in machine.
We are now looking for a skilled candidate to join our team.
Job description:
You will work as a development engineer within the controls area with focus on functional development of control algorithms. The job includes tasks such as control system design, system analysis, system modeling and simulation, design, and implementation of new functions and control algorithms in Matlab/Simulink and in C-code. You will also take part of development testing in model in the loop environment, HW in the loop test rigs and in complete machines in close cooperation with our calibration and test engineers.
The end application is construction equipment such as wheel loaders and articulated haulers. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional teams.
The focus is control software development but the job requires a broad approach with understanding of both the mechanical design of the drivelines, engines, electric machines, energy storages, power electronics, and machine dynamics. It also requires knowledge of the machine application and the way our customers operates the machines.

Qualifications:
• Master of Science within the areas of Automatic control, Mechatronics, SW-engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics or similar
• Experience from development of driveline control systems, automotive control systems, or other mechatronic systems
• Knowledge in automatic control, modelling and simulation, vehicle dynamics, mechatronics, model based function development, signal processing, etc.
• Good software-development skills
• Ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently as well as a team member
• Good communication skills in English are a requirement. Swedish is desirable
