Could you be our future Control Safety Engineer in Västerås we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll report to Erik Simonson (Traction Control Site Manager, phone +46-702-32 10 80) and work alongside highly skilled teammates.
You'll contribute to bringing our products and deliveries to high standards and strengthening the functional safety area. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with the safety hardware department in Västerås for concept and requirements.
You'll specifically take care of maintaining and developing safety software and hardware architecture, quality assurance plan, change management and software release management, as well formal analysis and traceability matrixes.
We'll look to you for:
Drive safety activities.
Ensure fulfilment of safety cases at a high standard.
Review of technical solutions and documentation.
Perform validations and assessments with independent safety assessors.
All about you

PhD or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent.
Experience or understanding of functional safety.
Knowledge of safety standards is beneficial.
Familiarity with entire chain, from hazard identifications to validation is beneficial.
Fluent in English and preferably in Swedish.
