You will work as a development engineer within driveline controls with focus on system analysis and functional development of control algorithms. The job includes tasks such as requirement management, system analysis, system modelling and simulation, design, and implementation of new functions and control algorithms in Matlab/Simulink and in C-code. You will also take part of development testing in model in the loop environment, HW in the loop test rigs and in complete machines in close cooperation with our calibration and test engineers.
The end application is heavy machines such as wheel loaders, articulated haulers, and trucks. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional projects.
The job requires a broad approach with understanding of both the mechanical design of the drivelines, engines, and machine dynamics. It also requires knowledge of the machine application and the way our customers operates the machines.
Qualifications:
• Master of Science within the areas of Automatic control, Mechatronics, SW-engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics or similar.
• Experience from development of driveline control systems, automotive control systems, or other mechatronic systems.
• Knowledge in automatic control, modelling and simulation, vehicle dynamics, mechatronics, model based function development, SW-development, signal processing, etc.
• Ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently as well as a team member
• Good communication skills in English are a requirement. Swedish is desirable.
