We are now looking to expand our team with someone who wants to be part of the Gripen Brazil Contract and, together with us, act as the interface between the Gripen E/F program management and the Brazilian customer, ensuring the deliveries related to the Brazilian Role Equipment milestones and ensure efficient and timely transport of Aircraft and other goods to Brazil. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting tasks within contract and program management, where a collaborative mindset and business maturity are essential for success. You will be part of an experienced team of contract managers, focusing primarily on Role Equipment and Shipping/Transportation (ROE&ST).
As the contract responsible for (ROE&ST) within the Gripen Brazil contract, you will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver according to the contract, making necessary contract updates, and negotiating with the customer and be in close contact with the shipping freight forwarder and harbours. This work is conducted in collaboration with program management, other contract managers, and the wider Saab units responsible for the delivery. A significant part of your work will involve monitoring operations, engaging in strategic dialogues with program management and head of BR contract, ensuring deliveries, negotiating with the customer, planning and conducting presentations, and ensuring adherence to the specified contract framework.
Important to say is that the role is very customer exposed at times and that you as an individual must manage to be very structured, precise yet humble under stress. The role requires a combination of operational management skills, a good technical understanding of Gripen and our methodologies, business maturity, as well as respect and understanding of cultural differences.
The work entails a certain number of travel days and overnight stays per year, mostly in Brazil.

* You should have good experience with the Gripen product.

* You should have experience in project management.
* You should have a good understanding of finance.
* You should have a high level of self-drive and perseverance in your work.
* You should have the ability to work cross-functionally in complex organizations.
* It is advantageous if you have experience with international business relations.
* It is advantageous if you have experience with tactical systems.
* It is advantageous if you have experience in a leadership position.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
