We are now recruiting for a Contract Manufacturing Manager to join our procurement wound care team.
In this role you will establish a consistent high-quality supply chain to ensure the supply of purchased products are in line with demand and are recognised as world class. You are responsible for the deployment of strategic direction for the function to secure best in class internal and external Manufacturing. You will contribute to improve internal processes and procedures with focus on best cost and supplier performance On top of that, you will also be an important key contributor, working in projects containing electronics & plastic injection moulding box build but also involved in other very important Mölnlycke Contract Manufacturing areas. Lastly, you will drive improvement projects to meet defined future requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Contribute to, and drive implementation of assigned parts of the Procurement strategy to ensure satisfactory supplier performance with regards to innovation, quality, service level and cost reduction.
Fulfil the Corporate Procurement Policy and Procedures.
Handle commercial and supply related matters for Contract Manufacturing.
Within area of assignment, ensure that Supplier Evaluations are performed and approved in accordance with procurement procedures and that current and potential suppliers fulfil our quality and environmental standards, as well as code of conduct.
Negotiate and establish Frame Agreements and Quality Agreement (MD) to ensure the formal aspects of supplier relations.
Perform benchmarking to support make-or-buy decisions.
Perform cost saving activities with assigned suppliers to ensure lowest market cost.
Continuously perform follow ups of KPI 's to ensure targeted goals.
Identify new supply markets and long-term trends in order to develop, test and launch new products.
For assigned suppliers, take lead in critical supply situations to secure supply and compliance
Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience:
Academic Business and / or Technical degree
Experience from the medical device industry is an advantage
Managerial, leadership and budget responsibility experience
International experience - Travel will be required
