What you will be a part of
Public Safety is a unit within Saab, which develops complex, business-critical management systems in the field of civil security on a global market. Our systems are for example used by police, rescue services, airports, security guards, cash-in-transport operations and within the transport segment. We work closely with our customers and are driven by a strong customer and user focus.
Your role
We are now looking for a Contract Manager within Public Safety based in Gothenburg, who is responsible for the commercial part of all the new contracts. That means conducts proposal preparation, pre contract data collection, negotiation and administration of government, commercial and international contracts. Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, prime contract specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements. Also assisting project managers in commercial matters during execution of the contracts and the purchase department for big sub-contracts. You report to the Head of Public Safety.
Your skills and experience
Experienced Contract Manager with at least 3-5 years of experience in contract management in complex business environment
Bachelor degree
Excellent understanding of legal documents
Working knowledge of contracting concepts; international contract law or public contract acquisition law and regulations
Effectively communicates both verbally /writing in English and Swedish
Effectively uses problem solving skills and analytical thinking
Excellent team worker
Self-driven, flexible, creative and result oriented
Willing to travel abroad
