hela Sverige Are you looking for a position in the challenging environment of the energy transition? Are you ready for a next step in your career in the field? We have a great opportunity for you at BA Heat in Sweden as Senior Contract Manager.
Department Contract Management Heat Projects is responsible for the contract management of investment projects in the Heat portfolio spread over the Vattenfall countries Sweden, Germany, UK and The Netherlands. Examples of current Heat projects in Sweden are 'Carpe Futurum' (biofuel fired Combined Heat & Power plant), New Fluegas Cleaning Block 1&4. Both these projects are in execution in Uppsala, other projects are in planning phase.
Your responsibilities as Contract Manager
• Participate in project contracting strategy discussions.
• Recommend and draft forms of contract.
• Review Invitation to Tender packages and participate in contract negotiations before financial investment decisions.
• Responsible for full identification of contractual obligations, potential variations and possible claim situations during contract execution.
• Negotiations with contractors on contract compliance and on change- and claims.
• All in cooperation with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, Procurement, Production and other relevant departments.
Your qualifications as Contract Manager
As a person you have good analytical understanding and clear reporting capabilities. It is important for the role that you are structured, have good negotiations and communications skills. You are a team player who takes initiative and can work well under pressure. To succeed as contract manager you also need;
• University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Legal) or equal level based on relevant training and experience.
• Relevant experience in large and complex construction projects, especially during implementation
• Minimum 7 years working experience
• Very good knowledge of English and Swedish both written and spoken.
• Negotiation, Contracting and Risk Management experience
• Knowledgeable of contract forms like Swedish AB 04, ABT 06, ABA99
• Good knowledge of working with MS office
Beneficial qualifications
• Experience of procurement and/or contract management in energy sector
• Experience of public procurement processes including knowledge of EU and Swedish legislations (LUF)
• SAP knowledge
