Contract Managers
Job description
Responsible for managing customer projects from signing of contract until warranty time has expired. This includes:
• To make sure that all project/contract objectives are met, project/contract is executed on time and within the budget.
• Being responsible for customer communication within project.
• Being informed of matters affecting the project execution and time/cost aspects.
• Responsible for project budgeting including follow up.
• Responsible for project time planning including follow up.
• Ensure that project follow up meetings takes place and are documented.
• Ensure that design reviews take place and are documented.
• Responsible for risk management within project.
• Responsible for reporting project status, budget, time plan, activities, risks and other project details to management and finance department.
• Report and resolve nonconformities within the project.
• Ensure sufficient internal resources for the project execution and when needed discuss the same with management.
• Invoicing customers and monitor that payments are received.
• Ensure that all functions are sufficiently informed and contribute as required to the project execution
• Responsible for closing and handing over project to Service department
• Follow internal project process as well as other routines and regulations related to contract management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the business unit?s Project Process.
The successful candidate will have a degree at university level in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience combined with experience in contract management and in working internationally.
Candidates should be self-motivated, open-minded, sociable team players, well able to cooperate with employees from other departments and with our customers and suppliers. A good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required.
