The Legal Team at Olink is looking for a Contract Manager, reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, based at our Uppsala headquarters. You will enjoy a broad role, predominantly supporting the legal team with its processes related to contract life cycle management, advice handling and reviewing and drafting contracts as well as supporting multiple departments and operational territories with contract advice. Being a true partner, you will be hands-on and commercially minded, with a professional ethic and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts covering a wide range of subject matters, including sales of Olink's products and services and vendor agreements.
Coordinate contract review and negotiation across multiple organizations including Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, and Product.
Provide proactive legal opinions and advice on legal matters affecting the business and solve legal risks and issues to protect the business.
Support and lead updates to the Legal team's processes and procedures including contract lifecycle management system.
Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
Identifying and implementing improvements to contracts and other documents.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree from accredited university (OR Paralegal with ABA Certification Program).
At least 5 years' experience as a commercial contract manager with knowledge in the administration of contracts, as well as understanding standard contract legal terminology.
Experience using contract lifecycle management systems and customer relationship management software (e.g., Conga, Salesforce.com).
Experience from the life science industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Prior experience in operating a contracts database is highly desired.
Fluent in both English and Swedish.
To enjoy working in this role, you should beorganized, with the ability to handle time pressures while managing multiple assignments. You demonstrate business integrity and have the ability to ensure deadlines are met, including re-establishing priorities as necessary, without loosing the eye for details. You are alsoa dedicated team player with the ability to work across the enterprise or within cross-functional teams. Finally, youhave strong oral and writtencommunication and presentation skills.
